We have several full-time positions open at the Research Fellow (with potential to be promoted to faculty), Assistant/Associate/Full Professor levels and will be appointed in the Department of Diagnostic Radiology.

The predominant criterion for appointment in the University Tenure Line is a major commitment to research and teaching. The major criterion for appointment for faculty in the Non-Tenure Line (Research) is evidence of high-level performance as a researcher for whose special knowledge a programmatic need exists. Faculty rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

We seek applicants committed to developing a research program focused on translational theranostics. This includes but is not limited to novel imaging instrumentation, novel chemistry/materials science for molecular imaging agent development, novel assay development, mathematical modeling, and various forms of (nano)therapeutics. We are interested in applicants who have multidisciplinary experience that can be applied to the development of disease detection and management approaches. The qualified candidate should have a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree(s) with experience in a relevant field.

Candidates must have an interest in leading an independent research program and participating in our center-wide efforts to translate novel technologies or methodologies into clinical practice. The ideal candidate will have potential trajectory and/or demonstrated breadth of preparation, as exemplified by significant clinical and/or research experience resulting in high impact publications in biomedical research. A successful candidate will be expected to obtain substantial grant funding and engage in multi-disciplinary research.  We are looking for motivated individuals who are committed to excellence in research, teaching, and mentoring of students in multidisciplinary biomedical research.

Please submit your curriculum vitae and a candidate statement describing your clinical, teaching, and research activities and interests to Prof. Xiaoyuan (Shawn) Chen (chen.shawn@nus.edu.sg).
